GREAT WHITE MEMBERS CONTRIBUTE TO
40TH ANNIVERSARY KISS TRIBUTE ALBUM
LARDIE’S ‘BETH’ NO. 1 DOWNLOAD IN JAPAN
A World With Heroes- A 40th Anniversary Tribute Album to KISS, with profits going to cancer care is now available online. The album features 20 monster hits performed by rock’s biggest names. GREAT WHITE’s keyboardist, guitarist and co-producer, Michael Lardie sang and performed all the instruments on the moving ballad “Beth.”
Lardie’s rendition of “Beth” is currently the No. 1 downloaded track off the entire album in Japan.
“Alan Niven (GREAT WHITE former manager and A&R) and project mastermind Mitch Lafon reached out to me and asked me to contribute,” Lardie said. “Mitch picked the song for me. Anything to do with cancer research is a cause I’m behind 100-percent. It’s taken away too many of our loved ones.”
Lafon’s successful PledgeMusic.com campaign raised just under $23,000 for the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence in Hudson, Quebec, resulted in worldwide sales on iTunes. The iTunes release includes re-imagined track listing and eleven bonus tracks.
GREAT WHITE guitarist Mark Kendall and bassist Scott Synder contributed to the album’s “Love Gun” track. Lead singer Terry Ilous sang “Forever.”

Statement Regarding Outcome of GW Lawsuit
Since we agreed to settle our differences with Jack Russell, we are hearing some confusion about what each band is doing. We are now posting here three documents that should help clear that up. The first document assigns Jack Russell's trademark rights in "Great White" to Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie and Audie Desbrow. The second is a license from the band back to Jack Russell so that he can use the name “Jack Russell’s Great White.” The third is an agreed-upon injunction against uses of "Great White" that aren’t allowed in the settlement agreement (which we are not posting).
These are the plain documents - no spin. Anyone interested can read them. We believe our arrangement lets both bands perform without confusing our fans, who spend their time and money coming to see Great White songs played live. Thanks for your continued support. We hope to see you all soon.

Lorne Black, Rest In Peace Brother
Lorne Black was a big part of Great White in our early years. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a true bass player to the core!! He was a fan of great bass players and acted as a student of bass playing, always paying close attention to the best in the business. He had a Paul McCartney sensibility and approach in that, instead of just following a guitar line, he played a song within the song. Listen to the bass in "Rock Me", that is a great example of Lorne's God given talent, and contribution to a song. He was always fun to be around and we are really going to miss him:-(. He had many fans around the world, that will also miss him!!
Lorne is gone, but his memory will live on!!
